Marquette Volunteer Corps

Dedicated time to tutoring refugees from kindergarten through college in language acquisition, cultural understanding, and academic subjects. Main point of focus was a young man named Youssef. When I first started working with him he had a tenuous grasp on the English language and common phrases. Through our sessions every Tuesday and Thursday, he was eventually able to pass his English class with an A.
